Pumpkin Sage Bundt Cake
Mmm, more pumpkin. My fellow chino folders were getting punchy about more baked goods, so here was something easily transported with a descent shelf life. This cake is a pretty basic bundt cake with the addition of sage. The sage is steeped with the butter for a few minutes to infuse the flavor...
The sage worked very well with the pumpkin. This isn't a kiddy cake. The herb flavoring brings out the earthy flavor of the pumpkin and rounds out the sweetness of the cake. I received good reviews from work, so something was working.
Look at that picture with the staging. I worked really hard to get that mint just right. Maybe one day this blog will have more artistic photography. But until I get a better camera, you'll have to deal with a mint sprig counting as decoration.
